Ashgold Assistant coach Thomas Duah has said his outfit will beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
According to him, Ashgold has what it takes to thump their regional rivals on matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League in the Ashanti derby.
“Ashgold will beat Kotoko on Sunday. Apart from Appiah Mccarthy, all the players are fit for the game, and we will have a new Appiah Mccarthy on Sunday” he said.
“Playing against Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak is a big game, and during that game as a player you don’t wait for somebody to talk you, you psyche yourself”.He added
He further indicated that their target for the season is to win the league.
“It surprising when a team like Techiman 11 wonders boast they can win the league, yet Ashgold cannot”.
“Yaw Annor is improving because there is huge competition in the squad”.
Ashgold host Asante Kotoko on Sunday in week 11 of the Ghana premier league.
