After recording a 2-1 win over Mozambique in Maputo last week, the Black Meteors of Ghana came home to finish the job in today’s return leg encounter.
Ghana Under 23 team defeated the Mozambique Under 23 team today at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium to progress to the next round of the AFCON U 23 qualifiers.
Dreams Fc Talisman Sylvester Simba scored the first goal for the Black Meteors of Ghana in the first half as in form Accra Hearts of Oak player Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored the second from a spot kick to put the game beyond reach.
The Black Meteors have now qualified to the final round of the AFCON U 23 Qualifiers over Mozambique on a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.
Ghana will now face either MoroccoMorocco or Dr. Congo in the final round of tge qualifiers.
