Former Black Stars of Ghana defender John Paintsil has tipped the current Black Stars of Ghana team to reach the Finals of the 2022 FiFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana’s best performance at the World Cup was in 2010 when the Black Stars reached the Quarter Finals of the competition in South Africa.
The Black Stars will be among five African countries that will represent the continent at this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
In an interview, John Paintsil said,
“Ghana is experienced at the World Cup now and I believe we [Ghana] will reach the final. I believe it from the bottom of my heart,” Via Joy Sports
Ghana will play PortugalPortugal, South Korea and Uruguay in the group stage of this year’s Qatar World cup.
