Nana Yaw Amponsah has stressed his desire to build a solid foundation at Asante Kotoko and make the club rise to become once again an elite in Africa.
Asante Kotoko won their 26th league title in the just ended 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League campaign under the second tenureship of CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Nana Yaw Amponsah expressed his happiness as Asante Kotoko won the league during the 2022 edition of the Ghana Football Awards over the weekend and said the club is on course to rise to a dominant prominence. He said;
“The feeling is very good but we won’t get carried away easily that we won the league,this is not the first time because we are the record holders in terms of title triumph.
“There is a project we’ve been putting in place since day one and we on a right path. It’s my main objective to make Asante Kotoko a dominant force in the country and Africa as a whole”.
He also continued by stressing, on the need for the GFA to invest in the youth to discover hidden talents to help make enhance the growth of both domestic and economical factors.
Nana Yaw Amponsah was named the 2022 CEO of the Year for second time running since being appointed by Asante Kotoko in 2020.
