The Ghana Football Association have revealed the 8 teams that will partake in the 2022 Division One Super Cup as a curtain raiser for next season.
According to the FA, the selected teams are based on performances in the respective Division One zones. The winners of each zones, second placed teams and two third placed teams in each zone will partake in this year’s competition.
Nsoatreman FC, FC Samartex 1996 and Kotoku Royals presents the champions in each zone, Tamale City, Liberty Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs form the second placed teams, Young Apostles from Zone One and Tema Youth from Zone Three sums up the competition representatives.
The draw for the competition will be held in affirmation to the above teams. The teams will be allocated into two zones of four teams each. The tournament will serve as a pre-season warm up for the teams as they gear up for the 2022/2023 new season.
The tournament is sceduled to take place from the 16th to 26th September, 2022 in the Eastern Region.
