Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics have named Yaw Preko as their interim head coach of the Club.
This is due to the absence of Annor Walker the main head Coach who has been ill for days.
Walker, who has led the club to some famous victories this season has been excused from duty by the club’s management due to his condition.
Walker was not in the dugout for their last two games against Aduana Stars and AshantiGold, which they experienced their first back-to-back defeats of the season.
Preko’s appointment was confirmed today and is expected to lead the team until Walker is available.
The former Ghana international has been coaching since 2013. He has been in charge of Ghana U-20, Hearts of Oak, King Faisal and Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah.
Olympics have won 11 points after eight games in the league.
