Hearts Of Oak Board Member Alhaji Akambi has dismissed all claims cited against the Phobians for engaging in match-fixing in the just ended 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.
Hearts Of Oak were the subject of playing match of convenience by the public as they lost their last four games of the league campaign all against relegation strugglers.
Alhaji Akambi has reacted to all those news as false and insisted Hearts Of Oak is a big club country who will ever engage in such a act.
Speaking in an interview with Abusua FM, the diehard club supporter said;
“Hearts Of Oak have never played in a fixed game before and never will such an act happen. We are a big team with a broad reputation.
“There reports are all allegations and propaganda against the team. I don’t understand why when we win there news don’t pop-up but when we lose then they we play fix matches.
“We didn’t have a good season because of some ups and downs but we have a final to prepare for and surely we shall win the 2021 MTN FA Cup” Alhaji Akambi concluded.
Hearts Of Oak were humiliated by Real Tamale United on the last day of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season with a whopping 4-1 loss.
