Accra Hearts of Oak has debunked rumors in the media for paying Ghc800 each to their players for drawing with Karela United in the match day 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
There were news circulating that, the Board Chairman of the club Togbe Afede XIV has given each player Ghc800 after drawing with karela on sunday.
The club has released a statement to debunk the rumors stating the, Hearts of oak does not ‘celebrate’ draw as a club
The statement indicates there was a promise made to the players for victory but the players missed it.
