With just few days to the Qatar2022 FiFA World Cup, Former Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed has in an interview stated that Ghana will miss former Captain Asamoah Gyan in this year’s tournament.
Asamoah Gyan is Africa’s all time top scorer at the FIFA World Cup with six goals after representing Ghana at three FiFA World Cup tournaments.
Fellow team mate and Former Black Stars midfielder, Rabiu Mohammed said Ghana will miss the presence of Asamoah Gyan at this year’s World Cup.
“We are going to miss Asamoah Gyan a lot going into Qatar 2022. With the presence of Gyan in our team, we were assured of at least a goal. Coupled with our solid defense, Ghana could win games with Gyan’s goal. Unfortunately, we don’t have him. We are going to miss him. But I’m sure the new strikers will aspire to be like him and deliver the goals for us.” Speaking to Akoma FM.
