The striker who scored two crucial goals in his first two matches of the opening season all from the bench including a memorable last-minute-equalizer against Asante Kotoko was sidelined for months due to injuries and had to spend most of the moments in the stance.
The lateral forward played twelve matches coming from the bench with one start in the season.
In an interview with Okraku on his general impressionist of the season, he has this to say.
‘’First of all, I want to thank God for a successful season, A lot happened including joy and sadness but through it all, I’ll say it was my best season so far though it was rough and smooth at the end. I was sidelined for three months due to injury but thank God I was healed, I joined my teammates to finish the race and fought out of the relegation zone at the end and something we are proud of.
I scored 3 goals in 13 games with just a single start. It’s not the best tally for a striker but I’m grateful and still call it my personal best season in my second season in the league after the truncated one.
I’m back home to rest and see the family After a long run in Techiman. I’m still training personally to stay fit because my previous season was ruined with injuries.
I’m getting prepared to face the new season. For now, I’m done with my loan spell with Techiman Eleven Wonders and waiting for my mother club (Dreams) to decide on my next destination. I urge my fans and managers to watch out for the new version of Prince Okraku Next season ’’.
Prince Okraku, the 25-year old former Maccabi Tel Aviv striker will have to return to his mother club Dreams FC to decide on his future in the next football season.
