Youngster Evans Adomako claims that the highfaluting performance he is exhibiting is the beginning of what he wants to offer to the Porcupine family.
The young forward was vilified for performing abysmally at the beginning of the 2020/21 season before injury toook him off to the periphery. But it looks as though the former Phar Rangers has rediscovered his form in the past three matches.
Adomako scored two goals for Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 against second division side against Thunderbolt Fc.
Adomako also scored a beauty of a goal which was Kotoko second goal and provided an assist in a game that was so epic against relegation threatened side International Allies before another youngster, Andrew Kwadwo Appau, jumped over Inter Allies defenders to head a perfect free kick from Fabio Gama to grab the win for his side.
Adomako Wiredu has been working in silence, then silencing critics at this quintessential moment of league is nothing short of joy.
Speaking to Opemsuo Radio’s Sasu Danquah, Adomako said:
“The feeling is good for winning the game because its something that makes us known that, the work we put together throughout the week has yielded a better result.”
He continued, “I’m happy for those who know me and believed in my abilities, and has waited so long for a moment like this. It’s just the beginning.”
Adomako’s current form for Asante Kotoko should be a worry for the other Ghana Premier League clubs that are yet to play against Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors qualified to the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup after beating Thunderbolt Fc 3-1.
