After a three-month absence due to a muscle injury, Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Teye Partey is back in training with Arsenal.
In October 2023, during Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League, the 30-year-old sustained an injury. Since then, the Gunners have faced challenges in the English Premier League.
Due to an injury, the Ghanaian player missed the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. Unfortunately, Ghana has been eliminated from the tournament.
In a statement released by Arsenal, it is confirmed that the Midfielder will play in Tursdays English Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.
“Thomas Partey has returned to first-team training ahead of our trip to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday,” a statement from the Gunners said.
“Thomas had been working on recovering from an ongoing muscle issue that had seen him out of action since early October.”
Arsenal currently third on the English Premier League table with 43 points after 21 matches.
