Accra Hearts of Oak assistant coach, David Ocloo is very confident his side will overturn the scoreline and defeat Real Bamako to secure qualification to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Phobians lost to Real Bamako in an emphatic 3-0 last weekend in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup.
The Ghanaian powerhouse will have to defeat Bamako with a four goal margin or more to book a spot in the final qualifying round.
Interim head coach David Ocloo has described the game as ‘no match’ is very optimistic the Phobians will overcome this titanic task.
Speaking to the media after training sessions at the Pobiman center, the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League winner said;
“This is a no-match. I can confidently say we can turn this around. We played well. We created a lot of chances but were not clinical.
“We are going to correct all the wrongs in training and play the game as wounded lions.
“They are not any super side and we are very confident we will defeat them and over to the next stage, they are beatable” He concluded.
The mammoth clash takes place on Sunday 16th October, 2022 at the famous Accra Sports Stadium.
