Former goalkeeper for the Black Stars of Ghana Adam kwarasey in an interview has sent a message of caution to players who are willing to switch nationality to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
According to reports, players like Hudson Odoi, Tariq Lamptey and the inaki brothers are among notable names willing to switch nationality for Ghana.
The Former Ghana goalkeeper adviced incoming players to come and give their hearts out for the country because they were rejected by other countries.
In an interview with joysports, here’s what Adam Kwarasey had to say.
“They need to come for the right reason I’ll say. I know they probably want to experience the World Cup but I hope they come because they want to represent Ghana and not because they were not selected by another country,” the FC Oslo Sporting director told JoySports in an interview.
“I think that’s number one – they need to be there because they want to play their hearts out for Ghana. Number two is hard because it’s been a while since I have been around, so I don’t really know how things are done in camp, but adjust quickly and do your best basically.”
Adam Kwarasey switched nationality to play for Ghana in 2007 and also played for Ghana in the 2014 world cup
