After several weeks of debate about Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s 2022/23 season kits, Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association Nana Oduro Sarfo has given his view on the issue.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko released their Errea made 2022/23 seasonal kits which has images of His Royal Majesty Otumfuor Osei TUTU designed on the Jersey.
A section of Ghanaians have come out to say the club is not right to use the image of the king on their kits while a section have also disagreed with their decision.

There’s no law in Ghana that prohibits Kotoko from using Asanteman’s image on their jersey to play the Ghana Premier League,” the GFA Executive Council members told Abusua FM.
Kotoko are set to travel to turkey for Pre season camping where they play Rivers United in a friendly game.
