Six local derbies will headline the Ghana Premier League on match day 28.

The 2020/21 season which has been highly competitive will enter into match day 28 on Saturday, June 05, when Medeama SC take on Karela United in the Western derby at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

Medeama will go into the game with a revenge in their mind having suffered a 2-0 loss in the first round of the campaign. This is one of the local derbies for the weekend.

Record holders of the competition, Asante Kotoko who sit in second place will face off with AshantiGold in the Ashanti derby.

Kotoko moved their home ground to Obuasi for the second round of the season and have churned out some impressive results in the mining city.

Also coming up on match day 28 is the Ga Mashie derby between leaders Accra Hearts of Oak and city rivals Great Olympics.

There is also the Sogakope derby between Liberty Professionals and WAFA at the Red Bull arena.

Legon Cities will battle Inter Allies in the Accra New boys derby while Eleven Wonders host Bechem United in the Brong Ahafo derby.
