Hearts Of Oak Public Relations Officer of NCC Kobby Jones, has stressed the Phobian’s readiness to leave a mark in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
The PRO for National Chapters Committee (NCC), Kobby Jones revealed Accra Hearts of Oak will perform better in the 2022/ 2023 CAF Confederation Cup than their previous performance last season in the CAF champions league.
In an interview on Kessben TV, the Astute Journo said the current team is relatively better and in good shape than the previous team that won the 2020/2021 league.
Kobby Jones also highlighted on the fact that even thou the club have lost some key players , there are equally some good players who plays very well when they are given the opportunity.
“Yes some players have left but we should know that before these players left, there were some very good players who were playing and they are still there.
“All we have to do is to learn from what happened. It was not only about the players but the coach’s approach to the games in Africa, the arrangement by the management and some other important things which all matter. Our squad today is better than last season’s own and I’m very confident we are going to do well this time” He said.
Hearts of Oak will represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup when the new 2022/2023 season starts
