The 2022/23 Betpawa Premier league season is set to kick off on Friday September 9, 2022 after its official launch.
President of the Ghana Football Association has assured teams and supporters about free and fair officiating in the league this time round.
Speaking at the launch of the new season, President Kurt OkrakuKurt Okraku says Referees have been camped and training ahead of the new season.
“Officiating has always been on the lips of everybody but officiating will improve this year. All the 45 officials centre and lines[linesmen] are camped in Prampram undergoing training,” he said.
“We believe they will be ready for the new season and the FA will offer them every opportunity to excel. Those who don’t excel, they know, usually what will happen,” he added as quoted by football Ghana.
The Ghana Football Association announced its 6m sponsorship package with Betpawa for three years ahead of the 2022/23 season.
