Brong Ahafo based Nsoatreman FC defeated Tamale City 2-1 to gain qualification to the 2022/23 Ghana Premier league.
The game waa very tensed as none of the teams were able to record a goal after the first half despite several chances created.
Nsoatreman Fc Striker Samuel Owusu broked the deadlock of the game just nine minutes into the second half of the game.
Tamale City attacker Bismark Asare scored a penalty to put the game level just 10 minutes after the Nsoatreman Fc goal was awarded.
The game was leveled after 90 minutes and hence proceeded to extra time. The Brong Ahafo based club scored the winner in extra time to emerge victorious in the crucial tie.
Nsoatreman Fc have qualified to the Ghana Premier league over Tamale City for the first time in their history.
They will compete in Ghana’s top flight league nect season alongside Samartex and Kotoku Royals.
