The Black Galaxiea of Ghana will take on the Super Eagles B of Nigeria in the second leg of the CHAN Qualifiers at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Saturday.
Ghana recorded a massive two goals victory over Nigeria in the first leg of the qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Goals scored by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu secured all three points for the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
Speaking ahead of the second leg of the game, Yaw Preko a former Ghana international and current Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics has said Ghanaians are better than Nigeria in terms of football.
“Nigerians are not better than us in terms of football so I don’t see the reason why we have to be afraid,” he noted.
“I coached in Nigeria for a season. They are not better than us. That is the time we beat them in the WAFU [tournament] in Cape Coast. We have what it takes.”
Coach Annor Walker will be hoping to qualify the Black Galaxies to the CHAN tournament after missing out on two previous occasions.
