Former Black Stars and Liberty Professionals legend Asamoah Gyan has has expressed his readiness to render services to the club whenever he is called upon.

The Dansoman-based side were relegated last season in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League after an abysmal run of performances ending the league with 40 points.

Liberty Professionals now strive in the Division One Zone 3 league sitting second on the league log aiming to make a quick return this season to the Premier league.

The Scientific Soccer Lads are tied with Team Youth on the league standings with 52 points after gameweek 25.

Speaking in an interview session, the former Sunderland goal poacher said he is hoping Liberty Professionals bounce back in style and return to their previous days when they were a dominant force in the Ghana Premier League.

“I have been there before and I am a patriotic citizen who is ever ready to offer help when the need arises. I will render my services for the club on any day as my boyhood club and I will impact my little knowledge into the youth ones when called upon.

“Liberty made me who I am today and I hope to see them become a dominant force again in Ghana” He said.

LIberty Professionals lockhorns with Team Youth in a crucial first and second affair tomorrow Wednesday 18th April, 2022 a game which could determine the fate of who will seek qualification into the Ghana Premier League next season.
