Hearts coach Samuel Boadu likened his side’s victory at Nana Ameyaw Park today to winning “a match” that takes them to the top of the log and most likely keeps them there. A fit that may propel them to the title win.
Heart’s incredible win against Elmina Sharks on Sunday kept their hopes alive and let’s not forget that at the Accra sports stadium they built on their last victory against Bechem United,a victory that was much tighter than the scoreline suggests.
A sweet first half goal finish from Obeng Jnr turned the game Hearts’ way.
Hearts are now occupying the top of the league log with one game more than those following them on the log. It is a position that Hearts are determined to keep and maintain till the end of the league season.

“Today was a good day for us and we hope to continue with our points accumulation,” Boadu told Hearts news. “We had to win this match and we did”.
Hearts dealt with the energetic wonders players, pressing, especially in the second-half, with the home side’s physicality posing a challenge.
However, after all said and done the Phobians were victorious and took all the three points available at the Ohene Ameyaw park.
With fans back at the match center, the home side were clearly in a mood to make amends for their poor run in the league so far, running all over the pitch, snapping into tackles and diving in to block shots.
This victory is what the phobians needed to hold on to the title that they’ve so much wanted.
Hearts will next host Berekum Chelsea at the Accra sport’s stadium in the ongoing league competition.
