Hearts Of Oak Communications Director Kwame Opare Addo has urged club supporters to rally massive support to the Phobians this weekend.
The 2022 MTN FA Cup winners will face Real Bamako in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians lost the first leg 3-0 away to Mali and Kwame Opare Addo believes with massive support from fans on Sunday, the Wonder Club will defy the odds and qualify.
Speaking to Times Sports, Opare Addo said;
“Qualification should be the main focus of every Hearts Of Oak supporter and not neglect at such a time.
“Nobody at the club is happy about the result and performance Saturday’s game. We have kept such disappointment behind us and we will be wounded lions in the second leg.
“Of course, we need 4 goals to qualify and it’s not something new in football, we need our fans to turn up massively at the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.
“This is not the time for blame game, let’s show love and rally support behind the boys and I believe they can do it” He concluded.
Hearts Of Oak are still without a substantive head coach with assistant and interim trainer David Marvin Ocloo expected to be in the dugout for his second game incharge.
