Kotoko returns to training; Gama, Taylor and Adams absent

Kumasi Asante Kotoko commenced their preseason ahead of the next football season on Monday at the Adako Jachie training complex after a long break.

The Porcupine Warriors were led by new head coach Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum and his two assistants David Ocloo and John Eduafo who have been confirmed to take charge of the technical team in the absence of Mariano Baretto who was relieved of his duties days ago.

The preseason training was all about physicals, fitness tests, intensive running and body stretches with the teams fitness coaches in charge.

All players saw last season were available including new signing Maxwell Agyemang and some unknown faces who are believed to be on trials.

Conspicuously missing were Brazilian import Fabio Gama, who arrived in the country today, and Solomon Sarfo Taylor.

The 21-times Ghana premier league champions placed second in the league last term and were also semifinalists in the FA Cup.
