    Kotoko must keep their players if they want to do well in Africa – C.K Akonnor

    Former Black Stars of Ghana head Coach Charles Akonnor has passed his comments concerning the failure of Ghanaian clubs in CAF Inter-clubs competition in recent times.

    The former Kumasi Asante kotoko head Coach has advised the management and Technical team of the club to maintain the current squad if they want to make an impact in Africa.

    Speaking In an interview with Kumasi-based Abusua FM, CK Akonnor said Kotoko should keep their team and they will excel in Africa.

    “Kotoko must keep their current players especially Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga and other top players”, he said.

    “Kotoko must keep their quality if they want to make impact in the CAF Champions League campaign”, he said.

    C.K Akonnor led Kotoko to reach the group stages of the Champions league in 2019 before been handed the Black Stars coaching role.
