A Justice Blay’s 51st minutes strike handed Medeama SC a 1-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak on matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa Akoon Park.
Both teams were superb in the midfield in first half which created limited chances in the game for the two sides.
However great goal scoring chances were missed by both teams to end the first half at 0-0 score line.
After the break. Midfielder Justice Blay got Medeama into flying start after an impressive team play found the Midfielder into space.
Blay however made no mistake in putting the ball at the back of the net to give the home side the lead with just five minutes played inside the second half.
The Phobians after going down fought hard to get the equalizer but couldn’t get pass the defense of the Yellow and Mauves as the game ended 1-0 in favor of the home team.
Medeama SC are now 9th on the Ghana Premier League table.
