The journey began at the sandy park of Apenkwa for this young enterprising winger.
Starting off as a Center Back for Peace Boys, his colts club, his tenacity and willingness to exploit more saw him move up the field in search of goal scoring opportunities. Johnson Owusu over the years has evolved in his game and has become a red hot winger with Marítimo B.
The former Dreams Fc winger had a stupendous season with Marítimo. Where he made 19 appearances for Marítimo, Marítimo B and the U23, scoring 6 goals with 8 assists.

After an amazing season, Owusu has returned home to Ghana and has made hefty donations to his boyhood club, Peace Fc.
Footballs, Boots, Bibs and set of jerseys were some of the items Owusu gave to Peace Fc
Speaking at a short ceremony, Owusu thanked his coaches and agency for the support.
“It always feels good to be back home and visiting where all the dreams started. I’m much glad to offer my small token to my boyhood club, where my ambitions of becoming a professional footballer began”.
