Nsoatreman FC head coach Boniface Ayipah has revealed he is open to stepping down his role after his main objective was to qualify for his team for the topflight.
The experienced tactician secured qualification into the Ghana Premier League on Tuesday when they defeated Tamale City 2-1 in an epic playoff tie.
Coach Boniface Ayipah will not be able to lead Nsoatreman FC next season in the Ghana Premier League as he doesn’t have the required coaching licence to serve in the league.
Speaking about his historic success with the Bono-based side, Boniface Ayipah said;
“I don’t have any problem stepping down my role as coach, I already knew about the requirements needed to be able to coach in the top-flight and my aim objective was to secure promotion.
“I will give my ultimate blessings and support to anyone who will be given the mantle to lead such as great club.
Coach Boniface Ayipah also expressed his willingness to participate in any CAF License A summit to upgrade his coaching requirements.
“I will definitely go in for the License A. I can not go for the license myself. I learnt they will [organise a new course] soon, so I’m patiently waiting for such summit to be organised” He concluded.
Coach Boniface Ayipah lost only one game out of the total 31 number of games played, Nsoatreman FC, Samartex 1996 and Kotoku Royals will represent Division One in next season’s Ghana Premier League.
