Aduana Stars head coach, Joseph Asare Bediako has expressed optimism in the team’s chances of beating Kumasi giants, Asante Kotoko this weekend when the two teams face off in the Ghana Premier League matchweek 27

The boys welcome the Porcupine Warriors on Saturday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium in Dormaa.
With preparation ahead of the game, Asare Bediako has said that his outfit is determined to beat the Kumasi based club to boost their chances of winning the league.
“Kotoko have never won a match at Dormaa since we joined the premiership. I am bent on maintaining that tradition on Sunday. It is not under my leadership as a coach that the team will lose to Kotoko. Beating them is a must.”

Aduana Stars are 7th on the league table with 36 points. They believe beating kotoko boast their chances of winning the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League.
Aduana Stars made history by winning the Ghana Premier League at their first attempt with 53 points. It became the ninth club to win the Ghana Premier League in its 54-year-old history.

They won the Ghana Premier League title two times,in 2010and in 2017. They also won the Ghana super cup in 2018 and competed in the CAF Champions league as champions of Ghana on two occasions, in 2011 and in 2018.
