Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian chanpions Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has reflected on the just ended season and given his verdict on how things transpired.
Looking in an interview, Nana Yaw Amponsah said their preseason tour in Dubai greatly influenced their performance this season which enabled them to win the Ghana Premier league trophy.
Nana Yaw Amponsah again rated the teams performance as a very good one even though the team had some challenges during the season.
“We had a good pre-season in Dubai and the teams we played were good sides. It helped us ahead of the season. People questioned our decision but it paid,” the Asante Kotoko CEO said.
“I will rate the performance of the team 70% because they did extremely well”
Kotoko will represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF interclub competition next season
