King Faisal Babies owner Alhaji Grusah has revealed he will never transfer a player to league winners Asante Kotoko and states they do not have enough funds to conduct business with.
Alhaji Grusah stressed that he will only be out of his senses to sell a player to Asante Kotoko whiles get more money from the player when sold abroad.
King Faisal Babies were able to escape relegation on the final day of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Legon Cities.
Speaking in an interview with Abusua FM, Alhaji Grusah said;
“I will be very mad if I sell my player fo Asante Kotoko when I can send them offshores and make more money. It’s only an embicile who know nothing about football business will do so.
“I did businesses with Asante Kotoko in the past and they couldn’t even pay me dime till now.
“Asante Kotoko purchased legendary Opoku Afriyie for Ghc5.00 and they haven’t even given me penny since.
“Kotoko out of jealously when we defeated them in the first round,they even wanted us to be relegated”. He concluded with bitterness.
Asante Kotoko will be in the market for new players to beef up their squad as they will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
