Former Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan has admitted that he lost his Black Stars spot because of former Ghana Coach Maxwell Konadu.
On 9 June 2019, Annan made his debut for Ghana in a 1–0 friendly defeat against Namibia. Felix in an interview has said that he was not given enough playing time to prove his worth.
“I felt I was good enough but the coach then, (Maxwell Konadu) didn’t give me much playing time and that’s why I lost my position in the Black Stars. “I confronted Maxwell Konadu but I didn’t feel the need to make the issues public.” He told Nhyira FM.
Felix Annan is Annan left Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2021 and now plays in the United States for Maryland Bobcats FC.
