Charles Akunnor is a former Black Stars of Ghana head Coach and also former player for Ghana. During his playing days, Akunnor won several honours during his club and national team level.
C.K Akunnor spent two years with the Black Stars of Ghana as head Coach and was later sacked after qualifying the team to the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
In an interview with Joy Fm, the former Ghana Coach said,
“I just needed encouragement. No, I didn’t get it. Even the atmosphere I worked in was a very tough one. It got to a time, I didn’t know who to trust or speak to,” he told Joy FM.
C.K Akunnor was later replaced by Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac.
