Ex- BlackStars player Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has expressed his undeniably love for Asante Kotoko and claimed he will only play for them if he returns to the Ghana Premier League.
The Former Hellas Verona midfielder has been a free agent since 2021 after his last stinct with Chinese outfit Quingdao.
The 32 year old has insisted he is still keen in playing football and has unfinished business with the Porcupine Warriors as well as playing in the Ghana Premier League.
In an interview with Angel TV; The midfield dynamo said;
“I still have it in mind to come play in the Ghana Premier League and solve some unfinished businesses.
“Everyone knows the love and support I have for Asante Kotoko and I don’t hide it anywhere I am. It will be a great feeling to wear the famous red jersey again, it might as well depend on who has the best deal but Kotoko will always be the first option for me.
“Am still training and keeping myself in great shape, let’s see what happens next season ” He concluded.
The former U20 World Cup winner had a wonderful stellar career in Europe.He is famously known for playing Italian side Udinese, where he spent 10 years with the Italian Serie A as well as playing for Hellas Verona. He also had stincts with Bursaspor in the Turkish League among others.
