Former Ghana International Prince Tagoe has express his delight as Hearts of Oak lost 1-0 to Aduana Stars yesterday’s matchday one fixture.
The Ogya Boys shocked the Phobians at home at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday as they start the league on a flying start.
Bright Adjei’s broke the deadlock on the 49th minute after an intensed first half to give the home side a famous victory over the 2022 MTN FA Cup winners.
Speaking after the game , ‘The Prince of Goals’ said the defeat to Hearts of Oak will serve as a wake-up call to the team in subsequent games.
In an interview with Angel FM, he said;
“I’m happy Hearts of Oak lost to Aduana, they underated their opponents and they got punished.
“It’s a wake up call for them to prepare adequately for the subsequent games. The league has changed and teams are all preparing very well.
” Aduana Stars played very good yesterday and they deserved all three maximum points” He concluded.
Hearts of Oak will host Accra Great Olympics in a fierceful derby in matchday 2 of the BetPawa Ghana Premier League.
