Yaw Annor emerged as 2021/22 Ghana Premier league top scorer after putting up a gallant display at the end of the just ended season.
Yaw Annor ended the season as the top scorer with 22 goals, equaling Ishmael Addo’s 21-year-old record. Annor was contending with Asante Kotoko player Frank Mbella but his two goals against Bibiani Gold stars on Sunday saw him overtake Mbella in the Goal king race.
In an interview with Akoma FM, Ashantigold Player Yaw Annor expressed his interest in joining any top Ghana Premier league clubs, Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
“I still have a contract with Ashgold and the decision is not solely in my hands”
“Any team that comes my way, either Kotoko or Hearts (these clubs are the biggest in Ghana) I am ready if they (teams interested) meet the demands of Ashgold” he said.as quoted by Football Ghana.
AshantiGold Sporting Club have been demoted to Division Two and may not feature in the Ghana Premier league next season despite survival.
