2022 MTN FA Cup winners Accra Hearts Of Oak have finally won the race to sign WAFA SC captain Konadu Yiadom ahead of the new season.
The Phobians have agreed a three year-deal with the players camp after a long term speculation regarding a move.
Konadu Yiadom has been on the radar of Accra Hearts of Oak for months and was close to joining the Rainbow side during the January transfer window but the move never materialised.
The defensive rock passed his medical tests with Hearts Of Oak on Friday with an official confirmation from the club only pending.
Konadu Yiadom will become Hearts fifth signing in the ongoing transfer window with his unveiling yet to be done.
Eric Ofori Antwi, Zakari Yakubu, Junior Kaaba and Wisdom Bumekpor were all announced by Hearts Of Oak last week.
The lanky defender was WAFA’s standout player in the ended 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season despite his side’s relegation.
He scored two goals and was named Most Valuable Player seven times.
Hearts Of Oak are eager to bolster their squad for the upcoming 2022/2023 season campaign.
