Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has been discharged from hospital, the club has announced.
Samuel Boadu, 35 was rushed to a hospital in Elmina after suffering from illness during the Ghana Premier League game between the Phobians and Elmina Sharks.
It is the second time the double-winning coach had challenges while on the dugout.
In January 2020, the former player was rushed to the hospital while working as head coach of Medeama SC during a league game against AshantiGold.
In a statement on Friday December,17, the club indicated “we are ensuring everyone that coach Samuel Boadu has since been discharged from the hospital and is responding to treatment.”
The Phobians also announced that it’s Premier League home game against Accra Lions on Sunday, 19th December 2021 will honored at Cape Coast Stadium due to the unavailability of their home grounds Accra Sports Stadium.
