The Gunners narrowly missed out on clinching the 2022/23 English Premier League title, finishing in second place, just five points behind eventual winners Manchester City.
In the current 2023/24 season, they have reclaimed the top spot in the league with only a few games remaining. Their last league triumph came back in the 2003/04 season when Arsene Wenger was at the helm.
Thomas Partey is confident that Arsenal’s talented squad has what it takes to clinch the English Premier League title for the 2023/24 season.
“This year we have lots of big players and I know we are capable of doing big things. It’s been tough for me, being injured for a long time, but now I am ready to give everything I can to the team,” he said.
The Ghanaian also added that he has put in much work to recover in time and wants to be back to help his teammates achieve success
“Anything I can add to our level, I will do. I worked hard during my rehab to be able to come back to the level I needed to be at. Now I want to get back with the team.”
At the moment, Arsenal leads the league with 64 points from 28 games, while Liverpool and Manchester City trail closely in second and third place, respectively.
