The Black Galaxies of Ghana will come up against Nigeria Super EaglesNigeria Super Eagles B in the first leg of the CHAN 2022 Qualifiers on Sunday August 28, 2022.
Ghana defeated Benin in both legs of the First round qualifiers to book a date with Nigeria in the second round of the qualifiers.
Ahead of the game, Head Coach of the team Annor Walker says the Black Galaxies can win the match if only there is fair officiating. He also complained that his team did not get a fair officiating against Benin but they managed to progress to the next stage.
“We didn’t get a fair officiating against Benin but we were able to progress. I believe Ghana will defeat Nigeria if fair officiating prevails this time around.
“The Nigerians should not think about revenge against Ghana because we eliminated them from the World Cup play-off.
“If they want to revenge, then it is not under my watch. We are ready and our minds are positive for this game.
“It will be a tough game but we are prepared and I am confident that we will qualify for the CHAN tournament next year,” he added as quoted by football Ghana.
Ghana will play Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium at exactly 4pm on Sunday.
