Ghana’s U20 women’s team, the Black Princesses, secured their spot in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup set to take place in Colombia in August 2024.
The team recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory over Senegal in their last Group game of the Qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to make their eight U20 womens world cup appearance.
Goals from Maafia Nyame, Tracey Twum, and Salamatu Abdulai were added to by a brace from Beline Nyako as Ghana recorded an emphatic 7-1 victory.
The Black Princesses of Ghana prior to the Senegal game earlier defeated Guinea Bissau and Eswanti in the Qualifiers to secure qualification to the tournament.
After Ghanas Qualification, Kurt Okraku who is the President of the Ghana Football Association assured that the Association will support the team ahead of the Tournament.

The FIFA U20 Womens World Cup 2024 will be hosted by Colombia from 31 August to 22 September 2024.
