The Ghana Football Association led by President Kurt E.S Okraku have signed a sponsorship deal with Mara for Ghana Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the FiFA World Cup in Qatar.
The sponsorship deal which is worth $1m According to the GFA will be used to help the Back Stars to prepare for Qatar 2022.
Mara is said to be a blockchain company that deals in cryptocurrency. The Black Stars of Ghana will engage Brazil and Nicaragua in friendly games this September as head Coach Otoo Addo has named his squad for the September friendlies.
Meanwhile the Black StarsBlack Stars of Ghana have been drawn against Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea in Group H of the 2022 FiFA world cup tournament.
