The Ghana Football Association has announced the date for the Champion verses Champion clash which is set as a curtain raiser for the upcoming 2022/2023 league campaign.
The sceduled single play game is set between the champions of the league and the winners of the FA Cup in regulation to Article 9 of the Ghana Premier League rules.
The date for the highly rated clash has been set to kickoff on 4th September, 2022 before the new footballing season kicksoff.
League champions Asante Kotoko will take on one of Hearts Of Oak and Bechem United in the clash when both teams battle it out on the final of the 2022 MTN FA Cup on Sunday 26th June, 2022.
Hearts Of Oak last season where named treble winners after they secured the league title and FA Cup respectively in accordance to the regulations of the league.
The GFA conducted a summit on Monday for all stakeholders as they aim to release fixtures for the upcoming 2022/2023 league campaign.
