Former Black Stars of Ghana Head Coach James Kwesi Appiah has been appointed as the new head Coach of the Sudanese Football National team.
The 63-year-old started his coaching career as an assistant coach in his former club Asante kotoko Between 1992 and 1995. He took over the Ghana U23 team before taking over the Ghana national team job in 2012.
He became manager of the Sudanese club Al Khartoum in December 2014 before being reappointed head Coach of Ghana in 2017 and later sacked in 2020.
Per Reports gathered by Talksghana.com, Kwesi Appiah has signed a three year deal with the Sudanese Football Association as the new Sudan Nation Team head Coach.
He is a member of the current Kumasi Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee.
