Ghanaian players Felix Afena-Gyan of AS ROMA and Kamaldeen Sulemana who plays his club football for Stade Rennais in France have both been nominated for the 2022 Golden Boy Award.
Both players joined the list of 100 players around the globe contesting the the price. Afena-Gyan had an impressive season with As Roma leading them to win the Uefa Europa league trophy last season under Manager Jose Mourinho.
Kamaldeen Sulemana also put up an outstanding performance for Stade Rennais as they finished 4th and cementing a champions league spot in the just ended season.
The Black Stars duo will join the likes of Real Madrid’s Eduado Camavinga and other young players as they conpete for the award.
