Asante Kotoko have rejected Belgium giants Royal Antwerp opening bid for their postal boy Imoro Ibrahim.
Royal Antwerp launched a bid of €50,000 on an initial loan with a view to make it permanent for €200,000 but the Porcupine Warriors have knocked back the offer.
Reports indicates Asante Kotoko are holding out for a loan bid of €150,000 and a permanent transfer of €400,000 all totalling to €550,000 for their talented left back who had been very phenomenon all season.
Imoro Ibrahim has been very detrimental for Asante Kotoko this season as they clinch their 26th league title with explosive performances week in week out.
The 23 year old won NASCO Man of the Match Award four times and also provided the most assists in the league with eight. He opened the scoring for Asante Kotoko’s coronation game with Elmina Sharks last weekend with wonderful free kick curler.
Asante Kotoko and Royal Antwerp are still locked in negotiations as they seek to find agreement between both parties.
