Lebanese side Shabab Al Sahel have announced the acquisition of former Hearts Of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey.
The 30-year-old has reportedly signed for Al Sahel after just one season with Iraqi side club SC Duhok.
Nettey is due to arrive in Beirut next week to join the team’s training camp as they prepare in for the Elite Cup tournament.The club released a statement;
“With this, Shabab al-Sahel has started monitoring foreigners for the 2022-2023 season.
“Shabab Al Sahel aspires to strengthen their ranks with the most prominent foreign players, in order to compete strongly for the league title” Shabab Al Sahel concluded.
Emmanuel Nettey left Hearts Of Oak upon his contract expiry after contributing significantly to the Phobians double title triumph (winning the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup) success in 2021.
