Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh has joined newbies Samartex 1996 ahead of the new season.
The midfield sensation penned a two-year deal with the Samreboi-based side after departing from champions Asante Kotoko after two seasons.
Samartex 1996 released a statement on their official twitter page confirming the midfielder’s arrival;
“We are super excited to announce that terrific midfielder, Emmanuel Kayekeh, has joined us on a permanent deal. The midfielder whose quality has never been in doubt joins us on a free transfer”.
The Timber Giants earlier on confirmed the signing of former Hearts Of Oak fullback Larry Sumaila to beef up their squad for the new campaign.
Samartex 1996 will be looking to leave a mark in the upcoming 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League after a securing a historic promotion.
