Asante Kotoko deputy captain Emmanuel Gyamfi has earned a place in the African Soccer Zone Team of the Week after his fantastic performance last Thursday against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Len Clay Stadium.
Gyamfi had a great game for Kotoko on the right-wing tearing up the flanks with pace, excuting his duty at almost perfection.
The 26-year-old speedster played full throttle as the Porcupines brush aside Crabs by 2-1 score line to secure a vital home win in the Ghana Premier League match week 24 at the Len Clay Stadium.
Gyamfi scored his first goal of the match to level for the Porcupines in the 29th-minute after Dwarfs had taken the lead in the 24th-minute through Daniel Korsah.
The in-form winger was at it again after the recess when he benefitted from goalkeeper Razak Issah’s mistake to shoot the Porcupines in front which proved to be the match-winner.
Gyamfi’s man-of-the-match display has earned home global applause and as a results of the has been named among the best eleven players in Africa Soccer Zone between 10-16 May,2021.
Emmanuel Gyamfi has found the back of the net three times with three assists this season in the Premier League.
