Dreams of Arsenal Star Eddie Nketiah playing for the Ghana National Team could actually become a reality after the player was issued a Ghanaian Passport.
The English born Ghanaian Player confirmed a few weeks ago that it is possible for him to play for Ghana after scoring a brace against Chelsea in the English Premier League.
I’m open to both, playing for Ghana and playing for England as well,” Nketiah told the Beautiful Game podcast when asked about the move to play for the Black Stars.
“It’s always good to have the opportunity to potentially do that,”
The Ghana Football Association has started the process for the youngster to switch nationality to be able to play for Ghana.
Nketiah acquiring a Ghanaian passport could actually means he is on his way to playing for Ghana.
Ghana have qualified for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and have been paired alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H.
